No, don’t do this. Even if it’s obviously fake. Sayeth the [Mirror](http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/handling-salmon-suspiciously-dressed-up-10336647), ‘According to the Seamen’s and Soldiers’ False Characters Act 1906, it is illegal to pass yourself off as a member of the Armed Forces. So dressing up as an admiral for a fancy dress party could land you three months in jail. The law states it is an offence to “impersonate the holder of a certificate of service or discharge”.’

And don’t dress up as a police officer either.

How does one suspiciously handle a salmon? Sounds interesting…

There’s a ‘performance’ exemption to the uniform restrictions, and we’ll be fully licensed up for shows. I can’t see that being relevant.

I think a suspicious/terrible foods booth has to happen.

I, I’ve witnessed several young ladies dressed up as police officers and quite frankly behaving in a most un-police-officer way. Were they doing wrong?

If they swiftly got rid of those uniforms, everything was fine.

They did. They must have realised their mistake.
