**Jayjay** For meā€¦ about the same, but without the component of ā€œbeen there felt similarlyā€ involved. I donā€™t care which gender they are watching, if they are more interested in the players, apparently from a sexual view point, than the game Iā€™d feel equally oogy. And the longer they stayed to watch, the worse it would get. Others milage may vary. ---

When my son was about 11, he played a minor role in a childrenā€™s production of _The Wizard of Oz_. He then had a major growth spurt, so, by the time he was 15, he was nearly 6 feet tall (heā€™s now 6/1 - 6/2). We were heading into a grocery store, when I saw this young woman scoping my son out. :eek: she then turned and saw me, and greeted me warmly, because, you see, she had played Dorothy in the above mentioned production, and remembered me from when I was corralling the 60 under 8 year olds in the green room. Oh, hi I said, and you remember my son, Ben, donā€™t you? the look on her face as she realized that sheā€™d just been oggling this same person who sheā€™d known as ā€˜just a kidā€™ was priceless. šŸ˜ƒ ---

With regard to the gay/het dichotomy, itā€™s something Iā€™ve been aware of for a _long_ time: Iā€™ve been sexually active since I was 13, and with adult women from the get-go. My choice, as I cottoned-on pretty early to the fact that they were more obliging and adept than girls my own age, who were mainly interested in talking about Duran Duran and hanging out at the mall. If I could do it all over again, (and lord, how I wish I could,) itā€™d play out about the same. The most negative thing that ever came up was the occasional jokey (and perhaps envious) remark about ā€œrobbing the cradleā€, and one snide woman who coyly asked my girlfriend, ā€œOh, is this your oldest?ā€ You can bet your ass that if I was either gay or female, (or both,) there would have been a _lot_ more hassle involved. So it seems pretty obvious to me that young g/bā€™s and females are discriminated against as far as their romantic options are concerned. Nevertheless, the older I get, the ickier may/december, and especially _april_/december relationships seem to me. Enculturation? Maturation? Who the hell knows? Compare _Lolita_ and _The Graduate_. Humbert Humbert and Mrs. Robinson are kindred spirits, but who would you rather have to dinner? (Well, okay, Mrs. Robinson never murdered a sexual rival, so pā€™haps thatā€™s not the _best_ analogy, but you get the driftā€¦) Whew, is this thread ever getting dry all-the-sudden. Oh, I can definitely relate to this. A week ago, in a shopping mall elevator, I got sandwiched between two adorable little girls. They couldnā€™t have been older than elevenā€¦but had imitated Britneyā€™s dress in every detail. Their make-up was more perfect than some movie starsā€™! I have to say I enjoyed THOSE tight quarters. :o And I was meaning to pick something up at the Disney store too, honest! Luckily, I exercised some self-control, otherwise I would have taken them on my ā€œspecialā€ roller-coaster ride. šŸ˜‰ ---

Iā€™m making a point that Sofa Kingā€™s thoughts and behavior are less than commendable, and the gleeful reaction that some of you have demonstrated to his revolting attitude is just as sickening. You are high-fiving each other, and for what, talk of wanting to ā€œscrewā€ these girls, ā€œdefilingā€ them with your penis, and ā€œbouncingā€ them in a couple of years? Britney Spears fans attending a concert with their mothers are not going to be even 18 or 19 years old. Try between 10 and 15. Considering their age, not only is it wholly reprehensible to talk about them in such a manner or be boastful about the entire thing ā€“ letā€™s face it, there isnā€™t an ounce of shame in that post ā€“ but I find it disrespectful to women of all ages. ---
