[Last month we sang](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=518227&highlight=belshazzar%27s) a couple of performances of _Belshazzar’s Feast_, by William Walton, at the Sydney Opera House. One of the performances was recorded live. It will be broadcast tomorrow (Saturday 13 June), starting at approximately 1.00pm\* Australian eastern time - give or take a few minutes. We were in the second half of the program and the actual concert broadcast starts at 12.05pm, with Sculthorpe’s \*Kakadu \*and Bax’s _Tintagel_.

It was a very good performance. The broadcast should be well worth a listen. If you’d like to hear it, go [here](http://www.abc.net.au/classic/) and click on the **Listen Now** link.

Thanks, I’ll try to check it out. One of of the more underrated contemporary classical pieces. I performed this with the Chorus of Westerly when I was around 10, and I ate it up.
