sven, Whiney threads are ok from time to time. Everyone needs to do them. From time to time is not every week or every month but a few times a year at most. And don’t post the “I’m so broke I’m going to be homeless” “I’m quitting my job because my weird boss leers at me from his bathrobe” “I’m so broke I’m going to be homeless” trilogy within, what? two months. Do it again and I think TaxGuy might start spitting green foam from a spinning head. If you need to whine, e-mail me and you can whine my direction and I’ll offer up blunt advice from “been there done that” that you can ignore because it isn’t my life you have to live. Why don’t you start a “film majors/professionals/hobbyists” thread over in MPSIMs or IMHO asking who is out there, what they did in college, what they hoped to do with their degree and what they are doing now and how they got there. I know that there are at least the four of us - plus Eve who probably has some good advice, and some doper I can never remember (a C name?) with an incredible film web site. Both those places are much more supportive than the Pit. ---

Completely counterproductive whine: But you were a FUN drunk, Scott! :rolleyes: Really, though, you have nothing to apologize for. While I was not here during the period when you started drying out, I’m sure you found out how many of us here have been in the same boat so we are plenty understanding. I’m pleased with your progress and pleasantly surprised how un-flakey you turned out to be, cuz I **was** here while you were still drinking. :eek: ---
