Well said, and basically what I wanted to say.

It’s not about being too far left or not left enough. It’s about accomplishment. If you wallow around and can’t get things done, even if it’s no fault of your own, people will bail.

On health-care reform, however, public opinion is almost unchanged from what it was at the beginning of August.
