I didn’t really get an answer before so I’ll ask again. If I tried to be more pleasant and nicer to people would I also be allowed to lie like a motherfucker? Does being pleasant make it all ok? Who was that poster that got banned for fabricating their whole lifestory and telling it on here, or the one that was pretending to have locked in syndrome? If they had been nicer people would those lies have been ok too? Its very confusing. ---

It’s hurtful, it spreads misinformation, and it condones racism and genocide. Where’s \*his \*PIT thread? Where is the stalking, five page long pit thread, and repeated accusations? Whether or not her little humorous anecdote is true or not makes no difference. No one is hurt by it not being true, there’s no misinformation being spread, nothing dangerous. She’s trying to amuse us, not spread racist lies. But NOOO! you sniveling little internet bullies and cowards want to pick on her for her funny little story, you want to make that supremely unimportant thing the line where you make a stand for the truth. You dont want the truth, you cant possibly care about her little story, _you just want to harass her._ That’s cyberbullying. \*Ok, I’ll accept “_attempt to be_ funny anecdote”- to be sure, not everyone gets it or thinks it’s funny. I dont care. ---

No you don’t get it. The situation you describe is nothing like what Broomstick does. You know, you should actually read her posts that we’re talking about before you go on like this. In regards to the cyber-bullying, no one is stalking Broomstick. No one is calling him/her at home, no one is sending him/her threatening emails, no one is toilet papering his/her house. No one is making up lies about him/her. She is reaching out to public message board. If she is that disturbed by all of this - and there is indication in this thread that she is - all he/she has to do is stop reading and it will be over. I get it, you don’t like it. But that doesn’t mean it rises to the level of atrocities that you claim it does. ---

I believe there was a thread about such a case. (Can’t find it at the moment, and I’m going to bed – I’ll do so in the morning).
