Please tell me this is “science,” so at least I can explain it to anyone who might’ve been watching, ---

From the creepy guy who kinda sorta hit on her at the cobbler shop and came back the next morning morphing into the crazed psycho who stalked her so badly she had to scrub herself in the shower multiple times because he made her feel so dirty, to the time she worked for a evil corporation that insisted she lie to customers to hurt them only to have it turn into a tiny, sleezy basement-run call-center that (IIRC) didn’t care if she lied. She really should just pick one story and stick to it rather than randomly change her story from post to post. ---

It’s entirely plausible that his pants burned/melted away quickly if he were wearing something like nylon swim trunks. The hot melted nylon itself would cause further burns. None of which would clearly say “rebeW.” ETA: Forgot to say “yeah, exactly, Fenris.” ---
