Good god you’re a seething, fire-breating, whining, irrational bitch sometimes. [What the fuck is your glitch in this thread?](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=761045) You solicit advice for making a simple, expense-paid business trip, and then bash most of the people offering sound, rational advice on your dilemma. You post tl;dr, spittle-laden screeds of posts, wielding your oft-used excuse of being poorer than dirt. Then you just go into crazyville contriving a world that is far, far exaggerated than the one we actually live in—as usual. This isn’t necessarily about this one thread, but your attitude and behavior in a lot of other threads too. Get a fucking grip. ---

I don’t see what the problem is. All she wants is an alternate route through Chicago that’s just as fast as the interstate tollway, but doesn’t cost anything and has very little traffic during a holiday. Surely we can come up with something; we’re the best and brightest! ---

And the cash lane was always on the right, no less! Out my way, there’s no rhyme or reason to the location of the cash and non-cash lanes–left, right, or center. Yet I, a hesitant driver at best, am able to navigate just fine. Because I can read signs. That is a classic Broomstick thread. The first post involves a complaint about some completely normal aspect of life. As poster after poster fails to respond as desired, the experience becomes more and more traumatizing, degrading, dehumanizing, misogynistic, etc. More comments and suggestions are offered and we’re off to a full-scale Broomstick tirade, involving ever more ludicrous claims and assertions. No signs! Transients undesired! Dire poverty! Bumper to bumper traffic at 70 miles an hour! A conspiracy to prevent her from shifting lanes! At least no femurs were broken or spouses ridiculed. ---

I don’t remember her being this way when I first joined. But the last four or five years, I guess right around the time her finances hit the skids, she developed a huge persecution complex. I used to be kind of annoyed by her “poor me” attitude but at this point she’s become a caricature who amuses me. ---
