My sincere condolences. My father is approaching 80 in September and his health has begun to decline, so I can see this coming in the not-so-distant future. And we’re relatively close, so I hate hearing this. Peace to you. ---

I’m so sorry Broomstick. I lost my father last October in similar circumstances. Even though we knew it was coming, and most of us were there in the house, it was still sudden. My thoughts are with you and yours, and I wish for peace for all of you. ---

Condolences, Broomstick. I watched my Dad go from a tumor in his lung, and I hope it dosen’t sound trite or unsympathetic to say that I hope you can find solace in that your Dad is no longer suffering. ---
