**flytrap** ,hell no, I don’t get offended! In fact, I’m more apt to be offended if someone under the age of 12 doesn’t call me m’am. As for **Emily’s** issue, it’s pretty common for a woman whose voice is in the tenor range to be mistaken for a man on the phone. The CO2 is bought, stuff for the little heathens’ busy bags bought, hair cut and the general’s supper swiped because I developed a cravin’ for Malay chicken. No it’s time to kick back. ---

Nice day at work. Had to teach safety school to a bunch of new recruits. There is one who ------- didn’t warm the cockles of my heart much but she is a returning temp from Peak who didn’t show anyone much back then. The rest of the crop look really prime and a couple pretty fantastic. If the other groups are like this it could be a very nice February. ---

I woke to the sound of the furnace which meant the pellet stove ran out overnight. So I got up. Higgs has been tended, the pellet stove is burning again, and \*\*FCD \*\*is snoozing. Quiet, if chilly, morning. We’re promised mid-40s today, upper 50s tomorrow, low 60s on Moanday. It’s not supposed to drop below freezing till Thursday night. I’m guessing by then, most of the snow will be gone around my house. The mountains in the parking lots, maybe not so much. Turns out I was right to cancel my party - there really is no place to park around here other than our driveway, and it will only accommodate maybe 5 or 6 cars and require much shuffling to get any out. Yep, April will be a better time to entertain here. Unless it rains a lot… 😉 We’re going out for breakfast this morning, and I’ll probably do a couple of loads of laundry. I’ll also work out my resume/cover letter, and I’m going to do our taxes. I think I finally have all the documentation. I got my W2 in the mail yesterday. I’m not expecting a huge refund, but I’m pretty sure I won’t be writing a check, so yay! Onward! Happy Saturday! ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. _YAWN_ 'Tis 35 Amurrkin and clear out with a predicted high of 70 and partly cloudy for the day. The big plan for the day is to funeralize Tom. Also, N.O.L. at the good Chinese place. We plan to get to the church by one or a little after. The church is small and I imagine will fill up fast so best to get there somewhat early to get a seat. Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. I had considered goin’ back to bed but I’m wide awake so that won’t do. Oh well. Happy Sattidy Y’all! ---
