Oh bloody hell. It was supposed to be a rant about the BT ‘talking business’ seminar I attended yesterday (90%+ of which was utter hype and bullshit) “maximising support capability 24/7/365” was one of my personal favourites (I _intended_ to put my hand up in the Q&A to ask if that shouldn’t actually be “24/365” or “24/7/52”, but my life-force had drained away by then) ---

Quite possibly **Steve** ; but you’ll have to ask somebody else; I may have been asleep for that bit. I do know that they are implementing new paradigms to transform throughput, by enhancing their customer-centric media. Or something like that, anyway. ---

What is the best paradigm shift for them to leverage their core competencies to achieve maximum market penetration and enhance stockholder value through strategic business initiatives driven by empowered employees? I think it would involve streamlining processes for maximizing propensities, enabling full contrivances of empowerment, eliminating occurrences of proliferate randomness, and managerially balancing data compilation with process ownership. What they need is a change to allow them to better leverage their talent base in an area where developmental roles are under way and strategically focus them towards the upcoming fiber-optic transition where system literacy and accuracy will be essential to maintain and to further improve service levels to their client base going forward. … …so many words, so little meaning. ---
