I went to see the movie [Buck](http://buckthefilm.com/) last weekend and loved it (no surprise there). [Here’s an NPR review.](http://www.npr.org/2011/06/17/137151174/buck-a-horse-whisperer-wrangles-his-dark-past) It’s rated 86 on Rotten Tomatoes by critics, and 92 by audiences. Buck Brannaman is a cowboy who gives horsemanship clinics. He was the inspiration for the book “The Horse Whisperer”. The movie is beautifully filmed and I think most people, even those who aren’t horse lovers, would like the movie. I’m curious if any other Dopers have seen it, and their thoughts. StG ---

No I haven’t seen it, I’ll have to wait until it arrives on DVD over here (if it ever does), posters were umming and ahhing about it on an equestrian MB, but I can’t remember which one… ---

**PapSett** - It’s showing in Indy - how far is that from you? I wonder if the Independant Film Channel will show it? StG
