This weekend, [Bucky Larson: Born To Be A Star](http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/bucky_larson_born_to_be_a_star/) opens in theaters. Based on the ads, it could well be the worst movie of the year. Will it achieve a “0” rating on Rotten [Tomatoes.com](http://Tomatoes.com)? ---

Despite the boobs, it will be close. That thing looks awful, too. I can’t imagine a pair of breasts that would entice me to see that movie. ---

Considering that the marketing stills from it were copyrighted in 2009 it seems this has sat in the can for a while. It probably was better off there. Either the studio is desperate for any revenue they can get or some executive found out in advance that he was being laid off and is taking the studio down with him. ---

I cannot stand the constant flow of commercials for it across my TV screen, especially the screaming smiling ASS at the end who keeps pushing it. Daddy, can I kill every living human associated with this film? Yes Chimera, everyone except Don Johnson. Just wound him as a warning to never do this again. ---

The only promo’s that are on a par with the “Bucky Larson” one’s are the one’s pushing “Whitney” - they’ve got at least two concepts they’re pushing (funny and sexy, funny and rude/oblivious) - both of which fail on the funny aspect, but do a decent job on sexy and rude/oblivious. Not a chance I’ll see either product. ---

Don’t be so sure. This [movie](http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/771245638/) has some of the biggest boobs in the world and it scored a 0. ---

What’s more frightening than the thought of watching a movie he wrote is the incredibly perfect inverse correlation between the height of the rating and the lowness of the gross. The best rating goes to Punch-Drunk Love which grossed less than Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo! ---

It is not being made available for prescreening, to make sure that newspaper reviews don’t appear in advance. That says that they know it’s so very bad that any review will be the kiss of death. ---

I was thinking that maybe, just maybe, this movie was a giant noogee on the head of america…an intentionally terrible movie to serve the desires of the makers. Desires which must involve laughing at the studio for making it, and the tv stations that carry the ads, and the people who watch it. Or maybe they’re just honestly trying to push the worst movie as far as they can to see what they can get away with. Seriously the douchebag who laughs at the end and yells at you to see it obviously is putting all that on for show…or he is mentally retarded…and is being taken advantage of.
