I haven’t watched **Lost** , but there is a nice review in the online version of [Tricycle magazine](http://www.tricycle.com/issues/editors_pick/1899-1.html) , a Buddhist publication. The author, Dean Sluyter, is a Buddhist practitioner who has written a book on Buddhism in cinema. At the end of the review there’s a link to his website and the book.

I remember several episodes of **The X Files** , that had Buddhist references, and they are all neatly together [Here](http://geocities.com/dharmawood/tvshows.htm) , along with some other TV references.

Inara from _Firefly_/\*Serenity \* is a Buddhist, which Mal makes fun of in the movie.
“Dear Buddha, I want a pony, and a plastic rocket…”
