# Budweiser commercial:  music based on Bob Seger's "Travelin Man/Beautiful Loser"?

Back in the early 1990s, Budweiser had a “friends know when to say when” ad campaign, and I remember [this commercial](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIgON_uqN_U) in particular. To me, the music sounds a whole lot like Bob Seger’s “[Travelin Man](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EzGhc9XRv9Q).”

Does anybody remember these commercials? Is that actually Bob Seger singing in the Budweiser commercial, or is it a soundalike? I can’t seem to find any information about the music in the commercial on Google.

I don’t have a cite but that isn’t Bob Seger.
