Argent, you’re arguing with an ideologue moron. This is the kind of idiot who once posted an article from the state-run Egyptian press alleging that the ‘leaders of Judaism in Israel’, or some such, had officially sanctioned genocide against all Palestinians. The Egyptian article was allegedly quoting an Israeli paper, published in English, for free, on the 'net. Glutton couldn’t be bothered to track down the original source with a whole 5 seconds of googling, and instead posted the Egyptian article as fact. Of course, literally every single claim made in the state-run Egyptian paper was a lie. He’s the kind of fool who idiots look at to feel better about themselves and to whom intellectual cripples give dancing lessons. That he’s a partisan fool should’ve been clear when he actually argued that if you bash Liberals, why, then you must be a Conservative! It’s just a tiny window into the sludge that rests between his ears; it’s a proud statement of his own partisan-whore nature, not a comment on anything else. Erik Prince is not out in the field in a position to be fragged. And anyway, fragging happens when grunt soldiers are angry with incompetent and cruel officers; from everything I’ve read, the Blackwater fellows are well-compensated and content at their jobs. They have no reason to do the kind of shit that underfed, scared, drug-addled draftees did in Vietnam. These guys are professionals. ---

About the only thing the government (i.e. the government contracting agency) is to not renew Blackwater’s contracts, if they are unhappy with how they are doing at fulfilling their contracts. I don’t know the details of their contract, if it was a multi-year or year to year options, but assuming it’s the later, is there any indication that Blackwater’s contracts won’t be renewed? IIRC they are up for renewal in the spring sometime, and, again from memory, they won’t be renewed due to the events in Iraq. But I could be mis-remembering. -XT ---

Well, those people weren’t brought up in this thread, were they? The people I see mentioned in the OP (what I wrote that post in response to) are all conservatives except Barack Obama, who is criticized by the Beast for being too right-wing as far as I can tell. My point is that the bashing of conservatives _on this forum_ is old hat. But who am I to tell other people what to post about? I just miss the days when the Pit was not Great Debates with more bad words. ---
