The people I see mentioned in the OP (what I wrote that post in response to) are all conservatives except Barack Obama, who is criticized by the Beast for being too right-wing as far as I can tell. My point is that the bashing of conservatives _on this forum_ is old hat. But who am I to tell other people what to post about? I just miss the days when the Pit was not Great Debates with more bad words. That is because the right wingers don’t read the articles. they just get defensive and cry about the mean old lefties. This is like the debate about Obama in the republican conference. The usual suspects entered the debate without reading the article. I guess we are used to that by now. Like Fox turning off the conference in the middle. The repubs were getting whipped so they turned it off to maintain their own distorted reality. You just can not have the facts enter in that jail cell of bigotry and hate. ---

But I’m thinking that despite a Democratic majority in the House, Senate, White House, Governors, and State Legislatures, you’re still not going to find enough bonko crazy fucked up material to populate that thread day in and day out for going on 11 months now. It’s not, unfortunately, a gonzo pitting, though I haven’t seen The Gonz actually make any comment concerning the OP, so I suppose that makes him fair game. I’ll just say that it’s a good thing that Buffalo Beast doesn’t have a 50 stupidest people on the planet, as gonzo would get 12 of the top 20 slots, which would perhaps get kind of dull. 1. Gonzomax Charges: With an IQ that is measurably lower than pocket lint, Gonzomax is (unfortunately) a repeat poster on the famed Straight Dope Message Board where he has taken posting to new lows with his infamous ‘faggy’ thread, as well as his fascinating thread on how interest rates in the US REALLY work, and of course the classic thread on the New Buffalo Beast 50 Most Loathsome people (of 2008) helpfully offered up in 2010 with a scintillating OP that showed both his command of the use of periods and commas, coupled with his quick witted (for an amoeba) prose. There are repeated rumors that several long time posters to the SDMB have contemplated committing suicide or converting their political world view to Nazism on the mere hint that gonzomax was planning to weigh in on their purported side. While these rumors are perhaps apocryphal, it is generally agreed that, to put it mildly, having The Gonz on ones purported side is a distinct handicap. Exhibit A: Frankly, too numerous to count. In general, open up any thread that gonzomax has posted too and you can find a perfect example of how truly brainless he is. Sentence: Unfortunately, the sentence is that the SDMB is cursed with a poster who, if his brains were made of gun powder he couldn’t blow his own nose. Strike that…he couldn’t blow the nose of a nat with triple the mass of gunpowder for brains… 1. Gonzomax Charges: Yeah, he really is stupid enough to make the list multiple times. In fact, if you don’t want to continue to see just how stupid he is you should skip to number 11, where we discuss George W Bush in detail… … -XT ---

Xt has declared himself some kind of arbiter. Thats nice. He always does. He is a big suck up and loves authority figures who he just knows always tell the truth. I guess trusting souls are what makes the government work so well. I feel so sad for him and his pettiness. ---

Go easy on gonzomax, at least he understands the importance of brevity. He’s never had a post that was longer than one potent hate-filled sentence. Thus I don’t mind accidentally reading one of his posts. Of course if you’re going to make sure all that hate gets in there, you have to dump logic and facts, but in all it’s a better experience than wading into a few paragraphs of bile produced by one of the many other pathetic pseudo-intellectual knee-jerk idealogue cranks on these boards.
