As a public service, here are the completed limericks: There once was a lady from Venice Who asked Duhbya if he could play tennis He quickly replied I’m sorry I’ve tried but the scoring system makes no sense! There once was a salesman from Akron, Who often was seen wearing Dacron His thing was so long It resembled Kim Il Dong So he’d stroke his dictator to jack one There once was a gal from Peru Who yearned to have a pet gnu. “No llamas!” cried she Just gnus, I want THREE! “Cause they’re liable to spit on your shoe!” I fell in the ocean, ker-splash When I came out, I sported a rash. The doctor was frantic He perscribed yoga tantric But I couldn’t afford all the hash! There once was a man from Nantucket Who kept all his cash in a bucket His dollars thus potted They soon grew quite spotted So off to the bank he then took it. A big burly man named Bruce Took to wife a Canadian moose The moose was aghast But Bruce had a blast When he goosed the mooses caboose The boy read a book on Abe Lincoln Which quickly got him to thinkin’ Four score and seven He looked up to heaven While our hamster supply keeps on shrinkin’. This thread can be hard to reply to But it’s worth makin’ the effort to try to. It moves really fast And no rhymes are rehash’t But it easier than trying to Haiku She discovered a horrible rash But the remedy came in a flash She pan fried some semen and summoned a demon I’ve never seen that on M_A_S\*H! This is really tedious. I’ll let someone else do page 2. ---
