# Building a backyard pond - advice/opinions?

Oooo would you? I’m very interested in the concept. We’re in the process of buying 40 acres with a [natural, spring-fed pond](http://picasaweb.google.com/raenjapan/HatcherLand/photo#5051027265145045618) on it (there is a creek running off it). We’re also thinking about putting in a pool when we build, but combining the two interests me.
