# Building the Treehouse is harder than I thought. It is an exposed beam, and aesthetically, it’s ok at best. I’m so pissed. I’m going to have to replace it. my buddy will be here in a little while. And we are going to do the replacing. We will have to create some kind of stint or support to hold it up while we replace it. I’m glad I have a saws-all. ---

I wish I had a webcam too!! Watching these two Dilberts build this thing is pretty funny. It’s cost me more than 2k already… We got the Center beam replaced and called it quits the light rain is just no fun to work in. The place is fairly dry now though. We’ll seal everything up tomorrow and start on the interior. It’ll be looking like [this](http://www.treehouseworkshop.com/gulfislands.htm) before you know it. I’m whipped… ---

I doubt mrs.phlosphr will let [kitty](http://www.orecatay.com/images/photos/gooder-than-ice-cream.jpg) (sorry for the close-up) in the treehouse. We’ll see. **Blonde** treehouses are very fun, I always wanted one as a kid and waited till I could afford to do it right as an adult. Trust me mrs.phlosphr and I have our fair share of adult adventures. It’s called growing old tactfully 🙂 ---
