…has a great song (c.f. _Poor Unfortunate Souls_, as nominated upthread). One that I’m pretty fond of is _Gaston_ from _Beauty and the Beast_. And in a different vein, the girls might feel empowered some by Katherine Plumber’s _Watch What Happens_ from the Broadway production of _Newsies_. And while _Shiny_ is a fun villain song, it’s not as fun as _You’re Welcome_ (not actually a villain song, just fun). And of course, _How Far I’ll Go_ is another Moana track that evokes grrl power. ---

Villain songs are great - I’ll throw in “Be Prepared” from the Lion King (my all-time favorite one) and “Mother Knows Best” from Tangled. ---

Just put “Let it go” on repeat. But in the interest of your sanity, how about the songs from “Enchanted”: “How does he know”, “Happy working song”, and “So Close”. ---

'Nother couple…[Avril Lavigne](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyDRbx8nWFg) and [Pink](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Nrv5teMc9Y) did songs for Disney’s latest Alice in Wonderland movies. And Madonna performed a few songs, “Sooner or Later,” “More,” and “What Can You Lose,” for 1990’s “Dick Tracy” (a Disney film, as a matter of fact), which appear on her album [I’m Breathless.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I%27m_Breathless) Plus, Janis Siegel’s [Back in Business](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=580iA_bOnvo&t=0m22s) from the same movie. Nice and Jazzy! ---
