Yeah, done the whole strainer bit plenty of times. The way I manage it is to get women’s stockings and cut about two inches off of the toe, to get that fine mesh little bag to pee through. It’s small and discrete enough to manage in the rest room at work. I’ll wrap it together with a few squares of paper towel, and put it in a small ziplock bag in my pocket. I can rinse it in the sink without detection, if I’m a bit sneaky about it.
When one pops out unstrained in a public rest room toilet or urinal, I generally just wave good bye.
I had a Lasix renal scan in the nuclear medicine Dept of our Med Center.
They made me drink the imaging solution. Took scans as the kidneys filled up. Then they injected the Lasix and did scans as the kidneys emptied.
Hi tech stuff. Urologist showed me the scans and gave percentages for each kidney. The one with the stone doesn’t drain well. Doc said that’s why they form in that kidney.
I wasn’t a good candidate for lithotripsy because the kidney needs to flush the pieces out. I needed an operation to remove the stone.
