IMO, Garfield being male was established clear back in 1978. In the linked strip, he uses a male pronoun referring to himself. You guys are reading way too much into this. The sticker isn’t a protest about gender identity or anything about Jim Davis’ politics- it’s just absurdism for its own sake.
