I wonder why he would have left the eagle statuette from his dead son’s grave in a partially trashed house? Somewhere someone(s) ain’t coming clean. ---

The wrecking of a house and its contents resulted in no consequences at all for the people who did it. Wow. That story is disgusting. Welp, [arrests have been made](http://www.buzzfeed.com/ryanhatesthis/this-is-the-guy-who-allegedly-organized-the-massive-rager-th). Six people, 17-21. They’re saying that the “ringleader” was a homeless teen that Holloway’s family had let stay with them at some point. Huh. ---

Yeah I wonder if they didn’t even bother going after everyone they found who was under age? The 17-year-old is the one who stole the eagle statue. Being that she took a photo of herself leaving with it, and either admitted to stealing it when she returned it or someone admitted it for her, I guess the cops couldn’t turn a blind eye to her. ---

[Interesting update on this story today.]([» What Happened at Brian Holloway’s House?](http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/9893855/brian-holloway-house%5C)) While the kids did do some damage to the house, which is repugnant, the house was already in bad shape and the partygoers were responsible for maybe one graffiti tag; the rest was already there. Holloway failed to mention any of the existing damage, which is extensive. He also hasn’t said what he is going to do with the money he’s raised. I suppose the worst case scenario, depending on how much he made, is that he’ll buy back the house back from the bank and then have to make a few repairs because of the party and some other repairs that would have been necessary anyway. A local construction worker said the house is in such bad shape that a buyer might just tear the whole thing down. Anyway, they ask him about a report that a neighbor claims the house is in foreclosure, and is falling into disrepair (which by no means excuses what the kids did in the slightest). His response - “I only have one neighbor, and I’ve never let him in my house, because he beats his wife.” and later “Yes, it’s in foreclosure because I told the bank I won’t pay the note, because I refuse to be pushed around.” He sounds like a nut in this story, too. ---

If you wanted to qualify that remark, you should have, well, actually qualified that remark. Don’t speak in absolutes if you don’t want people to take it as an absolute.
