How do you specify that you’re saying “AmeriKKa” and not “America”? Do you have to carry a picket sign to make it clear? I don’t have my copy of “Shaking Up the Bourgeoise Made Easy” handy.

OK, I don’t mind calling Clinton a dildo as well. I’m a bi-partisan critic.

The vets get a pass in my book. Not being president of the country, it doesn’t smack of someone signing their very own coat of arms.

Monty, the OP didn’t mention the word “desecrate”. You can deface just about anything with a surface on it.

Me too, Monty, but the U.S. flag _does_ appear to hold a cultish, quasi-religious significance for some Americans.

“Dang! It’s come in contact with the ground! I guess we have to ceremonially burn it, again.”

That’s pretty fucked up, right there.

Check the thread, Munch. There was already a mention of “intent to desecrate” in regard to the flag.

Larry Mudd: That bit about it coming into the ground is kind of funny, especially with all this “Homeland” rah rah rah stuff going on (homeland apparently = sacred soil).
