This is a very lame pit thread, I know. But it’s kinda funny. It is kind of funny that he has to ask his nanny for permission to go potty. I can understand why he would get fussy and impatient, though. A session at the UN is pretty hard to sit through for a child. It’s boring and they use big words and they won’t let you play with your PSP. ---

I know that many people on this board have read _Charlie and the Chocolate Factory_. I don’t know how many have also read _Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator_. But among those who have, am I the only one who thinks that the portrayal of the POTUS in that book now seems like a VERY eerie foreshadowing? ---

[/Reflexive Bush-basher mode] Seriously, what would the headlines look like if he just stood up and walked out of a UN meeting? The note could be a signal for an aide to come in and whisper in his ear “Mr. President, the coast is clear for your bio break.” and then he could nod and slip out quietly as if the aide had brought urgent news. About the only thing I would be suprised at is that the process for interrupting some meeting for a bio break is not more streamlined with signals negotiated in advance instead of having to resort to ad-hoc notes.
