Gary Kumquat, you too are an ass. Any stereotype derives its humor from the exaggeration of a commonly recognized characteristic. Blonde jokes, Polish jokes, et al, are funny most frequently when they draw upon these qualities, and for most thinking people, it is easily recognized as such. No, that was never my main concern. I’m more fearful of him using the weapons as leverage in some way, like he did before, ‘try to remove me from Kuwait and I’ll shoot missiles at Israel.’ Which he did already…next time he may be better equipped.

I’m not advocating war either, but I am supportive of taking a hard line against Iraq - saw a quote from Clinton a while ago, he agreed - and I haven’t seen any way proposed to do that other than to be a threat (preferably with UN backing.) I think this is a superb time to turn up the heat - global fight against terrorism, the ongoing intifada - can’t think of a better time to try to remove this guy from the world stage. I agree with a lot of things NaSultainne has said thus far…er, minus anyone in particular being an ass and so forth.
Ya know what FUCK IRAQ. Saddam has been a splinter in our side ever since we put him in power. Yes we can learn from our mistakes. Saddam has done nothing good for his country or the world. He keeps them impoverished yet he has million dollar castles.
I say we unleash Israel on them and just look away.
