The stem cell thing is actually something I agree with Bush with, but it was the best explanation I’ve heard from Kerry of his position. I can’t agree with it but I respect it.

OK. My freshman English students sound better-informed, more reasonable, and generally smarter than Bush when they make speeches on stem-cell research. And considering that they’re eighteen-year-olds in the Bible Belt with zero public speaking experience, that is SCARY.
