Bush-Kerry Debate: Part Deux

9/11!!![/

Bush seems to be taking these questions hard. Getting pretty angry.

Shrub is trying WAAAAYYY too hard. His arm waving looks affected and distracting. He looks like he’s doing dinner theater.

Kerry sems a little bit snooze inducing tonight.

ABC is using a split-screen. Fox is using a wide shot that gets both candidates, but they switch to closer shots occasionally. NBC appears to be doing what CSPAN is doing, which is mostly following the person speaking. Same for CBS. Looks the same for CNN. I think MSNBC is mostly using a wide shot. I think Fox News is doing the same as Fox over-the-air.

These were all current when I typed them in. A quick check shows that ABC got off the split screen and is switching between a wide shot and a close shot. Now back to the split screen.

You know, I’m gonna give up. But here’s an attempt of what appears to be happening.

There’s the smirk! Hurrah!

I just want to say that the simultaneous debate threads are SO worth the $4.95!

Maybe his head will explode, like Scanners. That would be cool.

20 min. in and Kerry’s on fire!

foot tapping!!! foot tapping!!!

Does hearsay evidence have a place in a debate?

They all look mildly terrified, don’t they? We don’t see all the Secret Service with assault rifles behind the scenes.

Sure, the only one doing the split screen is the one is showing baseball. D’oh!

Thanks for checking!

Got $.25 that Kerry was just hoping he would say “Bush Plan”

“I know how these people think” rears its ugly head again.

Actually, I still think that Bush will do far better in this one. He can get up from behind a lectern, move around, look at the people in the audience. It’s been my opinion that Bush is at his best when he can do that.

WRONG WAR!

60 second warning three times. y’know, the server is just too darn fast now

Bush keeps giving Kerry a look that says “Wow! That’s a good idea!”

He talks to Tony Blair?!? Wow, got my vote.

Notice there is no bulge this time.

Ouch, Bush had a good one on the “right war.”

These independent voters give everyone else a bad name.
