Everybody hear Jim lay down the law to the audience beforehand? Like Mr. Chips with sharp teeth. I do hope he has to smackdown some audience member. Hell with crawls and analysis and voiceovers–after agonizing for a while, my remote getting hot with the flipping, I’m watching on CSPAN. No frills, pure political heroin, my friends. LOLOLOL! CSPAN is showing a constant split screen with both candidates visible at all times! Take that, rulebook! Bush looks squirrelly, maybe because it’s on this screen he’s on the left 😃 ---

Kerry seems nervous, Bush inarticulate in the first round. Anybody that’s got “9-11 changed everything” in their drinking game, go ahead, Bush came close enough. ---

Bush is totally dodging the question. What the fuck is he talking about? is this going to be his strategy, to babble on incessantly without actually answering what he was asked? ---
