As a former high school debate competitor myself, I believe the Senator is winning on points. I do NOT think the sniggering here about “nuclear” is relevant, however. Nor do I believe this debate performance will swing the polls the other way. ---

So Kerry thinks that Bush should have done more to bring in other nations in Iraq, but that he’s including too many other countries in the Korea negotiations? Huh? Kerry’s definitely more articulate at the moment, but his suggested Korea policy makes no sense. We tried bilateral agreements. NK violated them. ---

I actually expected Bush to look a lot better in the debate than he has. I am really surprised that he has been as stuttering and pausey has he has. The future belongs to freedom :drink: Gonna be too wasted for the daily show. ---

VLA! DUH! MEER! Jesus Kee-rist! Good if bland closing statement from Kerry. Bush closing–he’s much better not speaking off-the-cuff. Wait–the military is not all-volunteer now? Smart-Kerry’s nodding along to the no Frenchies gonna tell us what to do stuff. The broader Middle East idea is a good one, although I think Kerry will do it better now. Hey, Martin Luther Bush. Not too bad overall. Alleluia, it’s over! ---
