**DtC** , they were puppets! Fuzzy felt puppets that oddly sounded just like Broadway actors! I was right there getting soaking wet in Times Square!! Kerry shoots with the “enemy attacked us” and scores!! Yay! Keep harping on Tora Bora, good stuff. Did like Bush’s contention that we should care less if we piss off bin Laden, though. ---

I just watched some of it. (But it’s too late here to watch it all) Bush - “They are fighting freedom” Bollocks. They are fighting Americans, because they don’t like Americans. Freedom, your favourite word, is a myth. There’s no such thing. And in the period I watched he kept reverting to his lame comments about Kerry’s flip-flopping (I can’t remember the phrase he used) to me this shows that he’s short of good material. Kerry seems to be in control. But that’s from the short period I watched. ---

I _think_ Kerry may have helped squelch a lot of the ‘fliip-flop’ talk with his cogent explanation of his war position tonight. ---
