But then his relationship with the Russian spy/Prostitute came out, and he was impeached and disgraced, the Soviets were emboldened and America was on the verge of collapse. First, it’s not true that Nixon doesn’t remember where he was when Kennedy was shot. But he didn’t like to talk about it because he was in fact in Dallas at the time meeting with some corporate sponsers. Conspiracy theorists could run away with that one.
Bush on the other hand did once claim he couldn’t remember where he was when Kennedy was killed. If I recall correctly this came up during the 1992 election campaign. Some people have made much of the fact that a CIA represntative named George Bush was listed as being in a meeting with FBI director J. Edgar Hoover on that date. Some people have speculated that this person was the former president who was supposedly not a member of the CIA in 1963. The FBI has since denied this and said the CIA employee was a different person with the same name, however the George Bush they identified stated he never met with Hoover.
The Bay of Pigs connection is based on names. Bush’s oil company was Zapata Oil. The code name of the Bay of Pigs operation was Operation Zapata. The two CIA ships used to support the invasion were the “Barbara” and the “Houston”, ie Bush’s wife and hometown. If Bush was a CIA ringleader in 1960 he was apparently a very sentimental one.
If Bush was instrumental in getting Nixon elected or in suppressing the Watergate scandal, he apparently didn’t get the payback he deserved. When Vice President Agnew resigned, Nixon asked several Republican leaders who they favored as a replacement. George Bush was their first choice (Nelson Rockefeller was second and Gerald Ford was third). Nixon decided on Ford. If he had gone with the advice he received, Bush would have become President in 1974.
And yes, the Bush and Hinckley families knew each other for years before Reagan was shot.

How come every time someone mentions the JFK assassination, people come out at lightning speed to debunk any possible scenario other than LHO, acting alone? It’s almost as if there’s some spook at langley monitoring the board, and anytime the subject comes up, masses of debunkers are deployed to ridicule the poster. And don’t give me that “I’m just tired of all these wild-eyed, tinfoil hatted conspiracy freaks cluttering the boards with their nonsense”. Why is that really of such great concern? The speed of response of denials tells me that the truth is being supressed…
