Speaking as a woman, I’m damn glad my GYN doesn’t practice his love with me. I mean, he’s not bad-looking, but I’m married and AFAIK, so is he. 😃 😉 Robin ---

Okay, I followed the link and read the quote in context. Can someone please tell me what he thought he was trying to say? Why would you even use the words gynecologist, women, and love in the same sentence? Even if you are an expert, silver tongued orator, isn’t that just _asking_ for misunderstanding? Was that part of the written speech? Or did he just stumble over the words and come out with that turn of phrase? As you can see, I have many questions. Mostly because I am fucking bewildered, and a little concerned because _my_ OB/GYN is a woman. I thought the GOP frowned on those sorts of things! :eek: FB ---

I think the transcriptionist heard the sentence wrong. Obviously Bush is not advoctating sex between patients and doctors. ---

I was 19, inexperienced, and just said, “I dunno, should it feel good?” He said, “If nothing’s wrong it should.” I was still under the misperception that doctors only wanted to do what was best for you and had no agenda. Two more shitty male gynos later, I only go to women now. They’re not rough, they don’t shove, and they don’t shrug off your problems and call you ‘Sweetie’. ---

Nope, I saw the video of it on _Countdown with Keith Olbermann_ on MSNBC tonight. It is absolutely accurate, and believe me, it was even more awkward on videotape. ---

I’m trying hard to be charitable towards a president I loathe, so I’m, going to guess that he meant “practice in the profession they love, _for_ women all across the country.” What’s wrong with those Bush guys anyway? How the hell can Barbara promote literacy, and Laura be a librarian and stand to be married to those sentence-thrashers? You’d think they’d be visibly cringing every time their husbands spoke. ---
