I didn’t like OJ analogy, because it has connotations of heinous murder. I think that “Bush and WMD” is more like a case of abuse and possible sexual exploitation. To me, Bush appointing WMD panel would be analogous to Bill adopting Monica.
If the war against Iraq was truly unjustified, then Bush is reponsible for a lot more death than OJ.
A quick Google search brought up an article stating that the death toll in the Iraq war was between 21000 and 55000. Bush went to war for false reasons - over WMD that do not exist - making it an illegal war as there was no threat posed to the US by Iraq. Can you seriously say that those thousands killed on both sides illegally, including many innocent Iraqi civillians and US soldiers sent there by Bush, don’t compare to a single murder?
