I might detest Shrub, but it was the right thing to do and he has made up for some of his other dithering by doing it. A lot of the current problems we are undergoing are merely matters of perception and it was important for that perception to be shifted in a positive direction. To not give him credit for doing this would be wrong.
As a sidebar, I’m sure that while he was on the mound his Secret Service team was so tense you couldn’t get a round toothpick up any of their @ssholes!
