# Bush-Trump Coincidences?

I guess any of you who follow my posts, must know by now. I am interested in coincidences. I am also a skeptic. And I don’t claim the coincidences show or prove anything. Mainly they are more about the person who finds them, I think.

Anyways, we all know the [Lincoln-Kennedy Coincidences](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lincoln%E2%80%93Kennedy_coincidences_urban_legend). I myself, and with the aid of others, have ‘uncovered’ the [Mount Rushmore Coincidences](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=440124) and the [Adams-Bush Coincidences](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=440124) (same location). I also may or may not have been the first one to ‘uncover’😉 the [Kerry-Kennedy Coincidences](https://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=824819). Others have taken credit, I should tell you. (Don’t worry if you don’t remember John Kerry’s attempt to become president. We’re all trying to forget it:).)

Anyways, I think I may have found the beginnings of one with President George W. Bush and Pres. Donald Trump.

[li]They both were called unfit for office.[/li][li]Neither one won the popular vote in their first term.[/ul][/li]And get this,  
[ul]  
[li]Both were born in the Summer of 1946 (according to Wikipedia)[/li][li]and to a rich family.[/li][/ul]

Now this is the challenge, to my fellow board members. Can you find any other coincidences? By all means, most of them I assume will be quite silly. And some may be interesting. You never know.

Please only serious posters post. And critique the whole idea of coincidences if you must. But remember this is MPSIMS, not GD or ‘the Pit’:).

BTW, I am not trying to hog the discussion. But I found [this](https://www.kansascity.com/news/politics-government/article119743678.html) interesting article related to the subject. I don’t believe in astrology. But if you do, don’t let that prevent you from posting. I have heard a lot of people tie their ‘coincidences’ to astrology.

Hmm, maybe I should have said the Clinton-Bush-Trump Coincidences (read above)? But as I said, carry on:).

I see no parallels other than being born to privilege, winning by losing, and being asshole sports owners (sorry for the redundancy). And avoiding military service - Dubya was AWOL for a year, making him a deserter, while Cadet Phony Bone Spurs dodged the draft by fraud. Yet one tragically makes the other appear almost normal. Sad.
