Bush v. Kerry, Round Three

Nice ending, Kerry.

Damn. Bush is bringing up the optimism thing. Please screw up please screw up please screw up please screw up.

Why did Bush feel the need to remind everybody that McCain is a republican?

What Kerry could have said was “Is America better off today than it was four years ago?”

Oh well.

Yup, I heard that too. And I saw a film of him at Yale when he was young, and he had that pretentious Ivy-League accent big-time.

Hummmmm…

Bush didn’t wish God to Bless America. Commie!!

Kerry’s 3 and 0.

Hope it helps him in the election.

WTF is an “army of compassion”? Does that mean kill the godless heretics in order to save their foul and hellbound souls?

That sounded desperate.

Debates are over. Now let’s all go screw around with the polling figures. MOOHOOHAHAHA. Just kidding.

Hmm, what a tough call as to who won this one.

Why are Bush’s daughters so hot? It;s not fair!!

It’s his codeword for faith-based initiatives.

I didn’t see that at all. I thought it was a genuinely warm moment (if such a thing exists) between the two. Kerry’s comments about “marrying up” were a classic line, and I’m guessing if you ask many guys, they’ll usually agree that the “married up.” (My dad thought so.)

I think I’m exhausted and going to watch something with more indepth content than our fearless leader displaying his winning ways with the English language.

Anyone know if there’s any Three Stooges marathons going on?

Bush finally found the comfortable middle between Zoned-Out-George of Debate 1, and Furious George of Debate 2.

But Kerry hit it out of the frickin’ park.

I repeat: wow.

Kerry mopped the floor with Bush. Not literally. I wish.

Fox is pretending that Bush won again. They won’t point out the lying, of course.

I thought it was more interesting that he brought up how McCain was voting for him.

Bush: "McCain is my B*tch. He’s voting for me.

I thought Kerry did what he needed to do. He got into detail on policy. Bush stuck to the speaking points as expected, but IMHO wasn’t as good as he was in the town hall debate.

Ah well, it’s been fun, but I need to sober up.

Good times ya’ll.

Prediction: Bush’s not remembering that he said he’s not concerned about ObL will become a Kerry Campaign commercial within the next few days, possibly tomorrow.

I think this is Kerry’s best debate performance so far.

Bush has also improved,
but in terms of explaining and supporting his policy positions, he’s just outreached.
P.S. I’m going to start renaming things I don’t want to argue about freedom, because freedom is prima facie good. You can’t question its value.
I don’t want to pick up the sofa I dumped on the curb of my street. Why? It’s all part of freedom.
Damn, my insurance benefits have been slashed. But that’s freedom on the march, so I just need to let it go.
And I can also start calling things I hate “liberal”. Those gas prices are liberal. They are friends of Kennedy.

Gotta call that one a draw. Both did a really good job.
