I think all the general kibitzing is out of the way, so I will lock this up. You can talk about the minimum wage in another thread. The reason the debate threads were allowed in GD is because 1) someone started one here 2) I think they’re too “hot” for MPSIMS or IMHO; Kerry-supporters will bash Bush or Bush-supporter statements, Bush supporters will bash Kerry or Kerry-supporter statements 3) it’s not a rant, so it doesn’t go in the Pit 4) it is a major political event of deep interest to the GD denziens and quite likely a matter of indifference or irritation to MPSIMS or IMHO-ers and 5) there is a decent likelyhood that debate on the debate statements will break out. These threads are actually a bit of a pain because people get too worked up.
