But if one day, if Iran did choose to nuke Israel, you’ll be damn sure there will be world wide cries of, “why didn’t the someone prevent this?” Guess who be blamed for that? You know damn well who will be blamed for that… ---

Starting new battles is not going to improve that situation. ---

So, Iran is not backing down on their nuclear program, and now weapons [might](http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/meast/02/15/iran.iraq/index.html) be flowing from Iran into Iraq. Creating a direct tie between Iran and the current war in Iraq seems to make it almost too easy to justify a precision strike on Iranian targets just across the border for “participating” in the war. Maybe that’s a bit of a stretch, but Iran sure does seem to be testing the mettle of the U.S. DOD lately. [sub]I don’t want this thread to become a zombie and then locked before it becomes relevant again, so I’m posting an update in order to keep the last post more current.
