# Bush vs. Gore - best background?

I’d call that a steal, but to each his own.

It’s true that Bush didn’t have his fingerprints on that, but Team Bush did have a hand in delaying tactics like the [Brooks Brothers Riot](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brooks_Brothers_riot) that shut down the recount in Miami-Dade County. The election may have been stolen for them by others, but they were trying to steal it themselves as well.
