Which highlights the very odd position in which the rest of the board finds itself in relation to **Reeder**. Normally, it’s best to just ignore someone who posts so frequently with so little content, in the hopes that he’ll just go away. However, with **Reeder** , the more we respond to him, the less he’ll be able to say. Which is why I challenge every Doper to come to this thread, and post as much as often as they can. If we all pitch in together on this, we can keep this thread on the front page of the Pit until next November, and this asshole won’t be able to keep spamming us with his ridiculous and petty tirades until after the election is signed, sealed, and delivered. Whadaya say, people? Can we do this? Are you with me? (Of course, if Bush wins, we’ll have to keep this thread up here for four more goddamned years. But since I fully intend to eat a bullet if that happens, that’s not my problem.) ---

However, I certainly wouldn’t advocate doing that. Doing that would cause **Reeder** to _stop posting new threads_, and since I derive so much pleasure from seeing his threads I’d hate to see them stop coming. 😃 ---

**Reeder** , I’m speaking now as someone who doesn’t really want to fight with you about anything anymore. What I said to you above was a joke, what **Miller** said wasn’t, and his post had basically the same substance that mine did. What does that tell you? It’s abundantly clear that you loathe George W. Bush. You’re not the only one. But dude, do you ever stop to think about what you’re posting? This is so incredibly silly that it defies description. There’s a reason that **Lynn** started your Official Bush-Bashing Thread. It’s because you pick something stupid like this, drop in a one-liner, and then act indignant when everyone tells you to shut up. She wouldn’t have started that thread if you weren’t already on thin ice. I mean, how blind can you be if you didn’t see that as an absolutely blatant warning? You keep this up, dude, and you’re gonna get shown the door. So…here’s what you should do, for your own good (and I mean that): 1. Before you hit submit, make sure that it’s a good flame about something substantial. 2. Add some substance to your OPs. Blog links do not count in that respect. 3. Work on being a bit more rational, and not being a foaming at the mouth only knows one topic poster, because that’s what you’ve become. In other words, help yourself, man. Every single one of your threads follows the same pattern. Break the pattern before it breaks you. ---

Oy. I can’t believe you’re splitting hairs over _exactly_ what **Lynn** ’s “rules” are, **Reeder**. It’s abundantly clear what the spirit of her statement was: Lay off the starting of Bush-bashing threads. And making assertions like the one that bashing “Bushco” isn’t bashing Bush–well, that makes about as much sense as debating what the meaning of “is” is. ---
