Bush's voice

I think GWB has a very recognizable voice - I don’t have any trouble recognizing him. I do agree that he’s somewhat of a boring speaker. He tries too hard to speak carefully and ends up speaking slowly; half a sentence at a time.

The only time I ever heard him yell excitedly was when he was addressing the firefighters in New York - it was also a spontaneous moment meaning it wasn’t written by his speechwriters.

“I hear you, the rest of America hears you, and the people who knocked these buildings down, will hear all of us soon.”

Definately the first time I ever felt inspired by him.

Hey, when so many people think he’s a bad president just because he makes a lot of slip ups in his speeches, can you blame him for trying to speak slower and more carefully?

I really want a quote from GWB, similar to a day that will live in infamy. We need something to stir us into a frenzy.

James Earl Jones for president 2004!

Hate to ask this, but who was Douglas Adams?

Douglas Adams: Author of Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, and all around nice guy who died suddenly and much, much, too soon.

Ahh, yes, I recall that now. Thanks for the response…
