Skimming down that Twitter thread, it appears that at least a dozen advertisers, including Ben & Jerry’s are boycotting Facebook and Instagram for the month of July and maybe more.

Ahhh, how cute. They can get a pat on the head for joining the cool kids by not being on Facebook.

Whatever, it wouldn’t influence me to support them.

Now [Coca Cola](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-53204072) too.

Now it’s Starbucks, Coke and Pepsi withdrawing all their advertising from all social media, including of course Facebook and IG.

Facebook’s stock has lost about $60 Billion (with a B) over the last two business days, but at least one [analyst](https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/facebook-stock-price-reaction-advertisers-halt-social-media-spending-2020-6-1029350644) says it won’t hurt them very much.

How long until the only ads on Facebook [are fake](https://mobiledevmemo.com/why-do-mobile-gaming-companies-use-fake-ads/)? Does Zuckerberg even care?
