I take it this is not as well-known as I thought. The song is _Jolly Roger_, from **Roger McGuinn** ’s album _Cardiff Rose_.

Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah, as covered by Jeff Buckley. Rufus Wainwright gets it wrong IMO, by singing “you” rather than “ya” so it no longer rhymes.
