# But are they real? Celeb autographs on eBay

I know, I know. It seems like a real sucker move- buying a celebrity autograph off the Internet. But my best friend is an even bigger AD fan than me (if that’s possible) and I want to get her some memorabilia for her birthday in case (god forbid) this is its last season. Any way to cover my ass other than checking out other buyers’ comments (who, really, could be just as clueless)?

Find a reputable dealer, or some kind of charity that’s auctioning things. That’s the only way.

How does someone find out if an autograph they have is authentic?
