The White House has been in a panic today over who’s getting arrested on Monday, so guess what Trump was tweeting about today? Not ahead of schedule, and Trump had nothing to do with it. ---

I can’t even grok what the current conspiracy theory on the right is. Somehow the Clinton campaign conspired with the Russians to release her emails in order to lose the election, while she simultaneously commissioned a dossier to dig up dirt on Trump which she forgot to release to the public. Also uranium features somehow. ---

This is about to get interesting. The “calm before the storm”…is about to turn into a storm. Trump will lean on his DoJ to prosecute Hillary for something, and I’m not even joking. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up prosecuting Obama for “crimes” at some point. Right now it’s still in the realm of congressional committees, but soon it’ll become something else entirely, which will probably provoke a new kind of crisis. And then if people begin protesting, he’ll probably try to declare a state of emergency. America’s about to enter the authoritarian age. Just remember, Repubs: you asked for it. We didn’t, but you did, and chances are most of you will be just as disturbed by what follows as everyone else. ---
