OK so at this point I gotta know, what’s with the MS 13 obsession ? Have they been in the news lately, is there a Netflix series about them that President PantsOnHead’s binging, what ? ---

The Latin Kings, the Sinaloa cartel, the Sureño cartel, La Familia, Los Zetas to name but a few… why MS 13 specifically ? Especially since at cursory glance they seem neither that big a gang, nor much of a problem at all ? As a street gang they’re barely on the radar, certainly nothing like the Bloods, Crips or even the Aryan Brotherhood… and nowhere near as much of a border issue as any \*actual \*cartel you’d care to name ? ---
