“Lightly”. It’s nice of him to admit that he had some business dealings with Russia after repeatedly claiming that he had none. And now that nice Mr. Mueller has yet another hook for that particular line of enquiry. ---

He’s the epitome of the guy who cannot ignore bait or a dare. He has to have the last word even if that word puts his neck in a noose (figuratively speaking). You go, Mr. Prez! MAGA! ---

I like how he qualifies thing that can’t really be qualified. He “lightly” looked into a Moscow deal - border agents used a “mild” form of tear gas - he’s going to put in a “major” complaint about the 9th circuit. I’m reminded of the scene in _A Few Good Men_ when Lt. Cmdr. Galloway (Demi Moore) objects, gets overruled and then reiterates with, “Sir, I strenuously object …” Lt. Weinberg (Kevin Pollack): “I strenuously object?” Is that how it works? Hm? “Objection.” “Overruled.” “Oh, no, no, no. No, I STRENUOUSLY object.” “Oh. Well, if you strenuously object then I should take some time to reconsider.” ---

He continues… “I will never testify against Trump.” This statement was recently made by Roger Stone, essentially stating that he will not be forced by a rogue and out of control prosecutor to make up lies and stories about “President Trump.” Nice to know that some people still have “guts!” > ---

Otherwise, he’d essentially state “I have nothing to hide and will tell the truth”. ---
