I went to @realdonaldtrump myself and there are a few tweets, but they’re mostly ignoring the whole situation. He still thinks this pathetic show of fear of a trickle of poor, desperate asylum seekers is going to gain him traction? We’ve just seen again what we’ve known for years: the hard-core, scaredy-cat, racist, fact-averse base is 30% of the electorate. A horrendously huge number of people, to be sure, but still, 30%. ---
